Shofar in the Park

For thousands of years, Jews have sounded the "Shofar" a simple, hollowed-out ram’s horn in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Head of the Year and the birthday of humanity.

No two people experience the shofar in quite the same way. Some hear a battle cry calling them to action. Others recall the innocence of their youth. Some hear a victory blast declaring, "Yes, I can overcome my obstacles." Others are freed by the painful tears they never dared to cry. Some remember home; others hear that it is time to roam.

Whether you were unable to attend synagogue services or heard the shofar and wish to experience it again, join our growing local community for an outdoor shofar blowing and the essential mitzvah of the day.

Welcome the new year with the timeless call of the shofar.

Looking forward to celebrating the new year with you!
